Banking services are available at BSP Taveuni in Naqara

Internet

Most resorts offer WiFi internet. Mobile internet SIM cards are available from Vodafone. Two small internet cafe are located in Naqara.

Postal Services

The main post office is in Waiyevo next door to the First Light building. Courier services are also available through CDP in Naqara.

Public Transport

Bus services do operate on the island – they are cheap, although schedules are “flexible” !

Taxi services are easy to come by and affordable. Most are metered, you may have to negotiate with some private operators.

Emergencies

The hospital and central police station are located in Waiyevo up the hill from the Coastal Road. A police post is also located at Matei Airport. The fire station is located in Wairiki across the road from Meridian Store.
